COWPEA FLOUR

Cowpea flour is traditionally used for savory recipes such as acara (savory and spicy fritters) but it can also be mixed with wheat flour for delicious pastries (cakes, fritters, etc.). Cowpea is a very popular bean in Africa and known for its high iron and calcium content. It also contains vitamin B1, B2, B6 and vitamin C.
