SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

How Shipping Works

Orders are processed 7 days a week and shipped Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). We strive to ship your orders as quickly as possible.

These times are an estimate based on regular traffic and are not guaranteed. During the holiday season, shipping times are generally longer due to the holidays and very high order volume.

Standard ground/parcel shipping

Most parcel shipments will be shipped within 24 hours to 72 hours and packages do not require a signature upon delivery. Standard shipping times average (3-5) business days and remote areas in North America rarely exceed (10) days. We cannot guarantee which service provider will be used until an order is processed. Our delivery partners are: Purolator, UPS and Canada Post.

Shipping costs

Our goal is to offer free shipping on all orders over $150; however, this may not be possible at times. If shipping charges need to be added to the order, they will be listed as a "surcharge" before we confirm your payment. These additional charges are determined by the carrier and apply to shipping locations that may be difficult to service or infrequently serviced. In rare cases, we reserve the right to notify you after you purchase an item of any additional shipping or handling charges required to complete delivery of your order. If additional shipping charges are required, you may choose to modify or cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Remote areas

It is possible to deliver our products to most cities in remote areas. However, additional shipping charges will apply due to higher logistics costs associated with, among other things, air transport.

Areas subject to a surcharge include, but are not limited to:

  • U.S. territories or protectorates (U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.)
  • Alaska and Hawaii
  • Yukon, Nunavut and Northwest Territories of Canada
  • Anticosti Island

Orders for these regions should be sent to us by email at makedasnfood@gmail.com. We will respond as soon as possible with a shipping quote. The additional charge will be known and approved before proceeding with payment.

Liability for transport breakage

We take every precaution to carefully package your items so that they arrive in perfect condition. However, we will not be responsible for assuming the shipping costs to ship the item again in case of damage caused during transport. However, we will work with you to resolve the problem in the most efficient way possible.

Changes of address

Addresses can be updated by contacting us by phone or email at no additional cost prior to the order being shipped. Once the order has been shipped, the carrier will charge an additional fee to update the shipping address. This fee can be very expensive - be sure to verify the address when you receive your order confirmation.
